The central Kingdom capital is the lush green hillside of the country. History entangled with culture and religion is its pristine asset and maintaining its identity: royal and majestic at all times. Culture being native, the main religion practiced is Buddhism, homing the very sacred tooth relic of Lord Buddha. The climate being cool and wet is blessed with a variety of endemic and non endemic flora.


Places to visit in Kandy

Temple of the Tooth Relic: A wonder of the world, Lord Buddha’s Tooth is believed to be deposited in the Stupa or Sri Dalada Maligaame for safety porpuses.
Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage: Herds of elephants are been well looked after at Pinnawela, the homeless and disabled giving them enough food and shelter.

Visit a Tea Factory: Trek up a mountain and visit a tea factory amidst the greenery in the fog.

  • Pick up or drop off from airport or hotel in Negombo.
  • It is not possible to cancel any booking after making the payment. Therefore, payment once made will not be refunded.
